Meet Scott
Scott Kalmbach started his career in real estate 20 years ago as a property developer specializing in home renovation and design. Scott’s signature style and vision have made him an innovator in Bay Area home design. His remodel projects have appeared in such publications as Metropolitan Home Magazine, San Francisco Magazine, Marin Magazine, and Coastal Living Magazine. His properties have also been featured on television shows and published in design books including San Francisco Homes, and California Interiors.
Prior to becoming a Real Estate Agent, Scott parlayed his interior design skills into a popular chain of modern furniture stores, Zonal Home Interiors and Lounge. To this day, his custom furniture designs appear in many of San Francisco’s premier homes. Before his foray into real estate Scott was an independent film producer producing such films as Farmer and Chase and The Grave. He also worked for a corporate communications firm specializing in video and film production which is where he honed his visual messaging skills.

Scott is proud to be a distinguished Top Producing agent for the last 10 years and has continued to perform at the Top Producer level. He is also a member of the prestigious Top Agent Network in San Francisco and Marin as well as Marin Platinum. Scott is actively involved in several charitable organizations including Build On, which is an outfit that builds schools in third world countries. Scott helped raise the funds to build a new school in Nicaragua and he traveled to Nicaragua to participate in the construction and dedication of the school. Scott is an active member of Home For A Home, a non-profit that builds new homes in the poorest regions of Guatemala, where he has helped raise funds and participated in the construction of several homes in Guatemala. Scott has also sat on the Board of the Pacific Union Community Fund, which spreads resources to the bay area’s most needy.
